Enrichment Events and Activities Committee
The Enrichment Events and Activities Committee focuses on broadening the perspective of the students while providing an atmosphere of cooperation and togetherness. Through our collective efforts, we expose the students to cultural, industrial and professional alternatives, which build the whole person and highlight the different options that are available in the community.

Job Preparation and Placement Committee
The Job Preparation and Placement Committee's objective is to prepare the students for job interviews and ultimately assist them in finding meaningful employment after graduation. This is accomplished through a series of job preparation workshops aimed at coaching the students on subjects including dress and grooming, the basics of filling out a job application and getting along with others in the workplace.

The Judicial Committee provides assistance to students and graduates concerning legal issues and the justice system.

Needs and Advocacy Committee
The Needs and Advocacy Committee provides a resource for students and alumni who have special needs or who encounter problems while at YATC or while working after graduation. The Committee works with the Executive Director to evaluate each situation and develop a solution to be implemented in a timely manner.

Speakers Committee
The Speakers Committee works with the staff to provide guest speakers who will offer information (e.g. banking, legal issues, etc.) or motivation through their life experiences to the students. Speakers have ranged from YATC alumni to professional athletes and community members.

Tutor Committee
The Tutor Committee provides an opportunity for volunteers to work one-on-one with students to improve their educational skills and assist them in obtaining the General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
